You do not need to be a resident of Bonner Springs to apply for a Library card. Proof of address is required through your government ID or drivers license. Lost cards may be replaced for $1.00. Parents and/or legal guardians may sign their child up for a card at any age. Some restrictions may apply on juvenile cards. You must apply in-person at the Library to receive your card.

Registered Library card holders may borrow up to 150 items. The following additional restrictions for certain items apply:
- DVDs, TV series, Comic Books = 10 per card
- Library of Things Items = 2 per card
- Music CDs, Audiobooks, & Magazines = 10 per card
- Videogames = 2 per card
- Wireless Mi-Fi Device = 1 per card
- Audiobooks, Books, CDs, & TV Series = 3 weeks
- Comic books, DVDs, LOT Items, Mifi, Magazines, & Videogames = 1 week
All items, except LOT items and videogames may be renewed two times, if there is not a hold on the item.
The Library charges $1.00 per day for these overdue materials: LOT items & the Wireless Mifi Device

Color: 50 cents per page
This service is free of charge. Documents can be scanned & then emailed. Or documents can be stored on a USB drive. Patrons are welcome to use our USB drives or purchase their own for $5.00.
Fax number is (913) 441-2660. It is 10 cents a page to receive. $1.00 per page to send.
